Plastic Dreams Log #12

I heard a metallic and stuttering voice say "hello" behind me. As I turned around, every computer in the room rose up from its table and became sentient. Auxillary and power cable became legs, and their mice a left arm. They began to dance in unison as if they were performing for me.

After a few minutes a voice came over a loudspeaker. It was the same woman from Log #4. She kept repeating,

"Let's look at the various machines. All of these machines are alike. There is no spare time."

Her voice seemed to awaken the rest of the control room, as everything from the lights to the switchboards came to life in a show of song and dance. I tried to join in with their celebration, but ended up tripping over my foot and knocking myself unconscious. The last thing I saw before blacking out was a myriad of black cables doing the Cha-Cha.

Is the description supposed to be the story to this song? Very atmospheric

Popecornclock responds:

The whole album is a soundtrack to a series of dream journal entries. I fancied them up a bit for each song to have them flow into each other. The previous song is on my page that leads into this. Thank you!
