In Control (Remastered)

Author Comments

This is for the Tenera soundtrack. This quote (for Tenera) might help describe what it is about, slightly: "Wolf painfully recalls his former self lashing out in vengeance, unable to change what had transpired."

The song gets a little bit different about halfway through. I decided to play around with an accident I made, and I really like what happened after that. I had accidentally put one of my tracks in the wrong instrument and then forgot about it, and when I got back to it, I was like... "Why the hell is this here?" And then moments later, "I kinda like this." So now I have this song XD

If you guys would like to support me in the development of Tenera (I need money to pay the artist to develop all of the pictures), just head over to www.baumarius.com/tenera or www.patreon.com/baumarius - Or you can share some of this stuff with your friends!

On a final note, don't forget that you guys can get some of my songs for free right here: www.tinyurl.com/best-of-bau

EDIT: I remastered this song with new headphones so that the sound isn't so bassy and then cleaned up a few issues in the music. The old submission doesn't seem to update with the new upload, so I made the remaster separate.

=== This is an NGAUC Audition Round Review ===

Huh, this is a really interesting piece. I was expecting stock orchestral from the first couple of notes, but what I got was anything but that. In terms of arrangement, I really have to commend your very unique approach to an orchestral piece! My problem with this piece, however, is that the energy level stays flat pretty much throughout this piece, and there is no particularly strong melody that stood out to me. Work on those, and I bet this piece will be really cool!

Mini-scores (See http://johnfn.newgrounds.com/news/post/936953 for what this means and how to improve)
Mixing: 4/4
Arrangement: 1/4
Composition: 2/4
Overall (this is not an average): 6/10

LucasMasoch responds:

Hey John, thanks for the review! I'll work on this again once I start wrapping up the soundtrack for Tenera. While the second half of the song really illustrates what I wanted it to, I can see what you mean in the first section and will do what I can to improve that.

I like this. Good luck in the contest.
I may take this and use it as a set piece later.
I'll pm you bro

LucasMasoch responds:

Alright, thanks! Just let me know c:
