what can I say but respect and 10 and 5

Veyr nicely done!

I could've sworn though half way through that I've heard a similar melody.

I like alot of your stuff though and keep it up!

Setu-Firestorm responds:

It's possible you heard a similar melody. A lot of my work is usually inspired by what other composers do. Although I DO mimic other composers' techniques (which every composer I've seen interviewed has said they do the same), I don't steal their melodies.

Honestly, though, I've lost a lot of ignorance since the time I composed this, and the part of that that sucks is that I had an inspiration then that I will never have again, and I kinda miss it. Not that I'm no longer inspired, just not that way anymore. This song is much older than its upload date (I believe I composed the "Children of the Sky" pieces back in 2003).

Thanks for the compliment. Take care.

Beautiful! Reminds me of some of the most important things in this country, such as the blood that was spilled to gain our freedoms, and the blood shed to protect it. It reminds me of the fact that we must resist the evils of those attempting to take our freedoms away, and the fact that we must not let all that blood be wasted just because some politician or corporation got too greedy. But it also makes me recall the days when coal/oil/natural gas companies cheated people out of their land, not caring about the damage done to those poor farmers. It calls to mind the image of the young men from all the families in a small farming community forming a line, each with a shotgun or rifle, ready to defend themselves from the heartless companies trying to take away their land and lives just because they didn't have the mineral rights. The compnies begin sending mercenaries in to take it away, and all the men fire upon them. While all would die or surrender, they did so knowing that they fought. And no mortal human can rightfully take away the valor, courage, and honor of a man who fought, no matter what side they were on or what they were fighting for.

Just Perfect!
