Aaaaaah, yes. Welp, I grew up with emerald, so I fought Steven much later, but still! This track is one that I really enjoyed, grwoin' up with it. Once agian, mostly orchestral track and electronic sounds are mostly in the background, but it fits really well, since this track poses as orchestral already (it just couldn't be, 'cause you know. GBA limitations.). Have you considered remixing Mt.Chimney though? I don't think you've ever done this one, so if you're interested, there's either that or Wally's theme from ORAS that I'd suggest. The latter especially, I think you could remaster rather interestingly with your style.
Cheers! Not much to say for this one, it's powerful, it's dynamic, and your style makes it stand out like it usually does. Sooooo yeah! Electro-symphonies for the win :D
i don't know what instruments started making noice at 0:43 but i was great! loved it, when i battle against any champion, this would be the fitting theme for it
I like this. A lot. I grew up with the third generation of pokemon (at least, that was the only generation I had for a long time), so I'm naturally drawn to the third generation's soundtrack. This mix kept the same atmosphere that the original captured and made it much more groovy - mainly with the added oomph to the kicks. The song doesn't end off with as big of a bang as it could've considering this is the champion's theme; it could've had a more epic ending in my opinion.
I've noticed you also have a taste for classical and orchestral pieces, I recommend taking a look at more of the gen 3 soundtrack. It's quite brass heavy - which can potentially make it easier to work with when making an orchestral remix. Just a thought. Keep up the good work!
Please contact me if you would like to use this in a project. We can discuss the details.
