I took inspiration from Metroid Prime off of the GC. This is a shortened and watered down version from the "real deal" I was working on, and had problems with. I have since fixed it, and uploaded it. Some of the parts that didn't make it in to the final version are here. I took inspiration from Dark Aether and Phenandra Drifts, which is an interesting combo. Enjoy!

Man this is awesome, I remember this game for the GC, I never did beat it. =(

Anyways, great song man.

Aresdev responds:

Thanks a bunch! Yeah, I stopped playing out of frustration, then picked it up and beat it. Got %100 completion, too!

this a great song but I don't remeber it being in metroid prime. however I would suggest it for metroid prime 4

Aresdev responds:

That is because it WASN'T. This isn't a rip, this is a Metroid THEMED song! Thanks for the review!

...I don't really remember this song...

...and I've played and beaten metroid prime about 15 times!! But when I saw that you instead used INSPIRATION from metroid prime it made me realize that this was an original piece, that would set itself well in the metroid prime genre. I'll have to agree with everyone else that it is a little high-pitched, but that doesn't really bother me that much.
*Quick Question*-what is the melody of? It sounds like a countermelody of something like in the Chozo Ruins...just wondering
Great job on creating this work of art, and this song shows that you don't need a $500 sound package to make great music.

Aresdev responds:

Thanks man! Check out the other Metroid thing I did, this was actually the crappy version of that, because I had hardware issues. YOu may find that better, although some douche said that it was BAD ambient. Check it out!

HOly flying metroid guts!

This song just capturse the hidden, dark atmophere of metroid so well. 5/5 10/10.
I'd give you more if I could.
By the way, what program do you use?

Aresdev responds:

Thanks man! Sorry it took me so long to get back with you. Believe it or not, I used Magix 11 for this. As soon as I replace my hard drive, I'm getting some new programs so I can branch out into actual remixes.

This is so cool. It's great. It sounds just like the one part on Metroid Prime in the Choco Ruins. Nice, nice work. I did something from Metroid Prime also. Go check it out. It's Meta Ridley's song. Review it if you'd be so kind ^_^

Aresdev responds:

Thanks for the review, man! I left you a review as you asked!!
