What do we have here? Yet another Project Chaplaincy loop!

This is one of the sadder loops I've written. I don't really know what started the melody, back in 2012. I thought it was fairly simple, and there was a little bit of theming with the rest of the soundtrack. Like all Phénix tracks, this one got lost in 2014 -- presumed lost forever, in fact -- until it got miraculously recovered in 2016.

Used in this project:
Akai-Steinway III soundfont, by Denis.

I like the dark theme in this. The piano has a very fitting tone. Good work!

I am always excited when I see content from you! This is really nice. Very simplistic, yet complicated at the same time (Does that make sense?). This does loop very well and flows nicely. I really hope somebody uses this fine piece of music in a game or animation! Very well mixed. I did enjoy this music.

P.S.
Sometimes I feel like being a jerk to a great song and I think I may do that here, by saying something that isn't needed. The violins that do appear in the song should be "humanized." No human plays a perfect note on a violin, so maybe a give or take 2 detune would be nice. If this violin was recorded/ this task was already done, I would like to apologize for a false suggestion.

Troisnyx responds:

Thanks. The velocities were modified, but a detune sounds like a nice idea. I'll play around with it in the next track that uses it, and see what happens :D

Glad you like it. This thing was indeed intended to be used in a game, a game that I'd conceived for getting on four and a half years. *Sigh* For want of programmers.
