399 Miles (to insanity)

This one in particular is an very experimental one, where i use lots of EQ effects, frequency shifting and exactly 399 BPM (hence the title).
What i had in mind when doing it? I have no idea. Except for the Hungarian Rhapsody No.2 part, that one i was surely aiming for something in a carnival style.
So i don't think there's much more to talk about this one: just has lots of samples, a remix from a classical piece, a drum solo, robot giggles and fast paced shit.
Yeah, that's pretty much it.

First minute: what have i done

Second Drop: ... ok i guess

Edit: This is an Absolute Abhorrence (get it)

What's very surprising is I actually like this song, the types of sounds used actually make it sound pretty good.

Thx buddy, I aprecciate the feedback xoxo

For some reason I always think of being in IKEA when listening to this. It usually takes 3.99 hours to get out of there. The first bit is when I first arrive, and 40 seconds in and the day's already got off to a bad start. When we hit a minute, I'm desperately scouring the shelves looking for some semi-decent furniture and already feel like I'm dying inside. Later on, after the 1:50 mark, I'm ascending the travellator to the top floor, still without the piece of furniture I need. While I'm up there I miraculously find what I need, and I grab it and run. Between 2:08 and 2:24 I run around the place trying to find the way out, before I find the travellators and go downstairs. Between 2:26 and 2:35 I try and navigate my way through the aisles of furniture that nobody would ever want in their house, before finally finding the checkouts. The last 12 or so seconds are me finishing and paying.
And that final note is me walking out of the door, relieved that it's all over. I had great fun listening to this and I hope you make another song like it in the future (maybe it could have an even faster and psychopathic tempo!).

Great job!

PS. If you are doing a sequel, could you do it with a tempo of 599 (if that's possible)? <3

spectronoid97 responds:

oh wow, now that's a hell of a way to look at it! HAHAHA
Dude, I would never ever think that this song I made as a joke would get so much praise! And to be honest, I kinda of even dislike it hahaha
BUT, seeing that quite some people liked it, and specially how far you've put your thoughts in this song, I'll take some time to make that 599 BPM babe. Is it going to be good? I hope so hahaha I consider myself a much better composer than what I was when i made this one, so I'm more confident about it.
ANYWAY, big thx and lots of love xoxo

When Xtrullor finds out there are other genres

spectronoid97 responds:

didn't know about him, but this song is an insult compared to his stuff HAHAHA
but apparently, you liked it, so i'm really glad about it!

actually really good its so psycho

spectronoid97 responds:

glad you liked it more than i did! hahaha
thx buddy hehe
