No samples were used in this except the drums, which I applied many effects to. I started working on this yesterday, and I really like how it has turned out so far. I'm not sure what to name it but I feel like vocals could bring this song to a whole new level. (I used FL drum samples, Sylenth1, Massive, and Nexus)... EDIT: Many months later I realize how bad this song is, and tbh I might delete along with the other wip I posted, it really does lack personality and I agree with all the comments

Most of the comments that I'd have made have already been mentioned by everyone else, so I'll just go ahead and let you know that it is good work for your first song ever. However, I DO feel that your drops could do with more of a kick to them if you're looking at an Electro-House-y kind of style, just a matter of picking the right kick drum for the job.

You have some great stuff going on here, and it's definitely going great for your first song ever.

Random bits of feedback...
Some bits of the song don't have enough going on (mainly the piano part near the beginning).
The track could definitely use a sub bass. In case you don't know what one is (I didn't know when I started either), it's normally a simple sine wave at low frequencies - around 80-100 Hz - which can give tracks like this a great boost. There's probably some spectrum analyzer in FL (Parametric EQ maybe?) that can let you know if you're in the right range.
The piano sound is a little too staccato (short). Try adding some release and reverb.
The measure in the middle of the drop (at 1:02) where you filter everything briefly sounds a little weird, as the filter cuts in right away rather than gradually moving down over the previous few measures.
It would be great if you added something different to the second half of the drop for some more variation. An arp might work well, but try a few different things and see what you like.
The build to the second drop is nice - I like the synth which rises in pitch - but often big builds like this one are improved when you keep all the sounds on one chord while it builds up.

Overall, great work, and I can't wait to see the final product!

This is very nice, but just like MysteriousPreesnce said, you should ad some variation. And in my opinion a kinda rough bassline, the piano doesn't sound nice, in my opinion but the melody is okay :) So maybe you can try to find an other piano sound or something or add some effects :)

Wow, that's a pretty good song for a first time ! *_*

Melody :
The melody is pretty good, but I feel like there could be more variations ! Because of this, I can say no more ! :/

Instruments :
Instruments were in my opinion pretty flawless, I particularly love the beginning synth and the piano !

Personality :
Well here's the problem of the music, as the melody is Ostinato, as there is no drops and as the song has no real ending (it just shades off at the end), I felt like that was a music like any other, maybe you could work on giving your songs a better personality !

Melody : 1/2
Instruments : 2/2
Personality : 0/1

Pretty good work for a first time, keep improving ! =)
