The Beautiful Power

a song i made in the style of C64 music, i think it would be fitting as a final boss theme of sorts
used DefleMask (pretty darn close to real C64 hardware)

I can't say anything new. They have been said everything about this song. I just couldn't stay saying: This IS beautiful.

The song is awesome. Favourite part: 1:15 (no advertising but reminds me the Bloo Kids OST, from Winterworks.) and 1:00 or 2:30. But the whole piece is cool, I love the intro, the melody, the second melody, everything...

Keep it up.

thanks :D

Woah I really love how that underlying beat changed! It started off slower and smoothly became faster and jumpier all the sudden! That's really cool :D If I was going to be nitpicky I would say that something sounds a little off with some of the electronic striking sounds...but I can't place why I feel that way so there's that, but you might know something about those sounds that I don't so I figure I'll mention it! XD Great song in my opinion ^_^

thank you :) the C64 sound can be a bit of an acquired taste

Here from R4R thread:

As always, your melodies here are outstanding. They're super engaging and fun. This would be great as a boss fight theme. I only have 2 issues with it: the first is the overall lack of clarity, but this isn't huge because, well, the C64 doesn't have the clearest audio anyway. The second is that some of the synths don't feel like they really belong together, particularly the transition just before 1:00. I don't know if this is just me being picky, but it kind of threw me off a bit. Nitpickiness aside, this is a great track with great melodies, and I thoroughly enjoyed it!
