A romantic synthy lullaby for Valentine's Day.
(check out the lyric video for this song!

Oh, and if you're fixin' for a download, you can do so here!

I had just turned eighteen,
Caught in between
The stars and the sea.
Sleepless nights set the stage
She had outgrown her age,
Longing to be free.

Looking out in the night
She beheld a sight,
A vessel inbound.
So she began to glow
And brought me in tow;
She ran me aground.

(Oh) look what you do to me,
(Oh) let us tread carefully.

As we tuned out the time,
Letting our souls entwine,
I circled her light.
I had misplaced my mind
And slowly gone blind;
Didn't notice I was in a moat, 'till she flickered out of sight.

Yeah well, you left me changed.
I can't erase your name etched in my right brain.
And though we both sailed on
And I'm no longer woebegone
You still get this two-bit song.

(Oh) look what you do to me,
(Oh) let us tread carefully.

Look what you do to me,
Let us tread carefully.
Look what you do to me...

As always, you make wonderful music, and accompany it with good lyrics. This is a perfect fit for Valentine's Day indeed!
The atmospherical aspect of this track is amazing; it feels so big and compelling. The melodies and chord picks are splendid, and all the instruments work well together. The mixing is right on point as well. Nothing to complain about here, just a lot of praise :D

Great job ;)

GhostLawyer responds:

Thank you sir! I'm always trying to improve regardless. This song may be one of my new favorites though. Glad you like it!
