Mysteries in the Green

A famous lone warrior wanders vast green fields and forests during ancient times of long forgotten gods.

He is in search of a mysterious relic that can bring his emperor back from the dead so that they may have a chance to conquer the land once more. There is little food to be found and many strange creatures are scattered around that can turn his adventure into failure if not cautiously approached.

The relic is said to be placed on a hidden pedestal deep within the forest and it can only be seen by drinking a magical potion that lets him step into an alternate world for mere moments.

The plains and forests he ventures in are majestic and wondrous, in some areas it is said that you can witness leaves grow and fall off trees in mere seconds.

Great track!
The audio dynamics were great a nice mix of panning gave it a very broad sound.
I thought at times the electronic instruments clashed with the tradition orchestral composition. There were also a couple of bit out of key.
This can work if you want to jar the audience in a scene but other wise should be avoided.

I think with a bit of mastering this would be top level.
Great stuff.

DanJohansen responds:

Thanks for the awesome review man glad you liked it!
The clash with the electronic instruments and orchestra was one of the things I really liked with the composition, not everyone will like it of course, but I tend to want to sway just a little bit from realism whenever I can to make it a bit more unique sounding.

Thanks again!

I love this type of music and I'm glad to hear more classical tunes rather than Dubstep. This is great video game OST material, keep up the good work and make more beautiful, fantasy music like this.

DanJohansen responds:

Glad you like it! I've done quite a bit of this style throughout the years and It's always nice creating in this style. Thanks for the review!

This sounds beautiful, if I do say so.

DanJohansen responds:

Glad to hear it! It was a nice experience creating it.

DanJohansen responds:

Thanks a lot!
