Just me playing around and trying to learn the new equipment/software. Backing track from midi, taken up a bit into a comfortable range, with freeware for FL Studio.

I'll admit I'm a bit biased due to liking KC in general, but this is a pretty good cover. The vocals are very fitting and heavenly, and the MIDI track almost match the pre-existing song to a T, especially the ride cymbals.

That said, it's not a perfect one. The vocals are a tad on the quiet side, and at times, the backing track can drown them out. The tempo is also a bit slow for my tastes, but that might be my aforementioned bias getting in the way.

Also, it was a very smart move to not do the coda at the end.

This was before I had proper recording! Hopefully I'll be redoing it again in the future.
