Mellow and atmospheric. Love all the different layers you got going on here. It's also wonderfully spaced out, the stereo seperation that is, fills out the room. Also listening on the same speakers you made them on, well almost, got the BX5a monitors. Nice track man.

So I posted this track early in 2015, but was never happy with the mix, was getting used to my new speakers and had a lot of clipping going on. So I have had another go at getting it right, making sure all elements sit properly and trying to thing out several parts.
It's a proper track this, with loads of guitar, synth and drums. 12 layers of stuff going on and if you know about guitars, you know how hard it is to get multiple layers to sit. I have spent a literal age sorting the EQ, verb, panning, volumes and phase to make a tighter, more dynamic mix where all the parts can breathe without being overwhelmed by low end. My only small gripe still is the ebow'd bass line, a proper bass would be a killer on this but alas it wasn't to be.
Please, please have a listen to this and the original and leave me some feedback.

Oooooo thanks again mate. I'm glad you can pick up the nuances in this track, there's like 12 guitars, 6 synths, 2 drums and god knows what else on this mix. Having good monitors really brings it all out. Igot my bx5d's on sale at £75 for the pair. Bargain.
Pretty slick and sick track. I'm loving those reverb guitar sounds. I never got around to use Ozone though it's a pretty great plugin (also Izotope released Ozone Imager for free). Very simple but solid melodies and arrangements. <3 your stuff!

Not to condone piracy but Ozone is available via nefarious means if you are smart...if i ever got famous i'd be buying legit but i guarantee 99% of musicians on here use stuff that is probably not licensed. if you need help finding stuff pm me

sorry for the tardy reply, bouts of lows will do that to a guy. Cheers mate. I posted this a year before this version then spent the next 12 months coming back to it due to not being happy with the mix. I'm happy with it now, no clips, all sitting. for 12 guitar layers and 4 synths i think i did alreet. Thanks mate.
