An Improv on the Future

Well, I haven't uploaded all too many improvisations this year, for whatever reason. I've actually been improvising pretty much, but I guess I haven't recorded most of the sessions. Here, however, is something I recorded more than a month ago. I started with that one theme really, and just kept going with it. It may be a bit monotone, but I think it can be good background music.

The soft strings were actually there when I listened to this yesterday, and even if they're not the best strings (they are directly from my Yamaha Clavinova CLP - 230, just like the piano sound), I decided that it sounds better with them, than without them. The strings weren't recorded afterwards or anything, but I must've played a double track while recording this originally, so that both strings and the piano were recorded for the same notes.

While this is my last improv for this year (dedicated to New Year, as you can see from the name), it will not be my last upload. There are still two more to go! One, I will compose today, thanks to some... Inspiration ;)

I hope you'll enjoy this for now, though! :D

Very calming and beautiful. For me you can only get better every time I hear your music.

Thank you! But I think the other composition that I just finished is way better than this one. I'll upload it within a few hours. Stay tuned! :D
