Edit: Thanks for frontpage! I really appreciate it ^-^

Merry Christmas, everyone! This song is a Christmas present to @etherealwinds, but there are several other musicians who I feel should be included here, because they've all inspired me in so many different ways. Thank you all so much, and have an excellent rest of the year!

Love it.

I have no other words to describe it. I get this feeling of nostalgia too, which might be caused by my love of open world sandbox games.

It has an early 2000's pc game feel, which is a great thing. I am simply astounded by your emotionally driven work here and the subtle ambiance is not only nostalgic but calming in its own way.

You definitely deserve the views, downloads and front page spot that is to come soon! I promise I'll get it done as soon as the next rotation comes up.

larrynachos responds:

Thanks a lot for the kind words, Bosa! Your review just made my day :) I'm so glad you liked the song!

I just realized I have 13k views and over a thousand downloads. How'd I manage that without the front page? Awesome!

Thanks in advance for the front page, and thanks again for the review!

Tell me if you listened to the Moon Child Orphanage music from Shenmue II when you were creating this piece. It resembles it so much. ((This is awesome music, BTW.))

larrynachos responds:

Ok, real talk? Never heard that song before in my life. The resemblance is frighteningly uncanny. I hope I don't get sued o.o lol.

Thanks for the review bro! Great way to end my night :)

First 2.5 minutes are great. I was sort of expecting more approaching the 4 minute mark (maybe a climax or just a repeat of previous instruments with slight variations), but it was mostly just calming down by then. Great arpeggio and light/bright pads/instruments.

I could imagine a bunch of different strings going for a not-too-long climax and then having it fade-out, or perhaps introduce a bit more somber/darker tones to clash and contrast with the first parts which are more of a soft sad melancholy. I like contrast and "aggression", so my view may not coincide with your goals with the piece.. :P

larrynachos responds:

Sounds like you have great ideas of your own! If you'd like, you could attempt to cover it or something :)

would listen to while eating pizza again!
