FL Studio 12, exported with the Wrap feature.
Sylenth1 is used for the chords and bass. No presets here, mostly just effects using delay and reverb modulated at a semi-high rate, just enough to create a hyper harmonic...I guess you could call it. Usually I go with distortion, but this started to sound better.
H-Delay from WAVES was used for that, along with the LX480 from Slate Digital (still trying to figure this thing out).
Bass is nothing special, just your average raw sines with a little drive.
Percussion is from Black Octopus Sound which involves the kick, hi-hat, clap, and shaker.
Most of this snippet was influenced by Slate Digital plugins, including the Virtual Mix Rack, Virtual Tape Machines, Virtual Compressor Rack, and the FG-X.
My personal opinion to myself for future use: Made it too dark. Also, let up on the -0.7 ceiling, perhaps make it -0.3. The stereo field is wacky, the mid lows 300-600hz are a little too centered, highend is WAYY to stretched out, it leaves the chords a little dry where they are.
Looking to collab with anyone that uses FL Studio 12, willing to use vanilla plugins for convenience.
Please contact me if you would like to use this in a project. We can discuss the details.
