Listening to this on headphones. Very nice. You took the Adele approach haha
Your voice is really captivating. The piano also sounds really good. at 2:22 you seem to played either a diminished chord or a wrong chord thats played. Not sure if that was intentional.
When you introduced the choir it was nice, however you lacked realism as they stayed at the same volume and they took no breathes through each passage. When using orchestral elements such as strings, brass or choir. It good to use expression modulation to add some realism. A good practise when you want elements to be emotional is to have a "push and pull" method. a fade in when the note starts and a fade out at the end. Also good practise is to think about when elements need to breathe. For Brass and Choir they need a short breath because a player can not play legato forever.
It a great song! I also encourage you to use more elements for your future productions!
Thank you :) I really have a hard time trying to record myself by myself. I usually record errors and don't notice them until i'm mixing the song. At the end i just took the first recording i made and let that run. The others ones were better, but had a lot of background noise, birds chirping, got too close to the mic, etc. I hope i can record in a studio in the future to be honest. Thank you for your feedback!
Sounds really good. I love it.
Thank youu :)
