Just a fun battle/boss theme originally made for an RPG in production by a friend. The game is being scrapped. :(
This one starts slow, and has an 8-bit theme to begin with, but picks up at about 0:50 and then drops shortly afterwards.

If you want to use this in your game, but need it changed or modified, let me know what you want done, and I'll see what I can do! ^^ I still have the project file for this so can edit it freely.

On the upside, you can use this in your stuff now if you want to! :D

Just be sure to message me on here or on my youtube channel (http://www.youtube.com/JayBeat2k6) and let me know that you're using it so I can know it's actually being put to good use! ^^

Also, the end is very abrupt to allow for easy looping of the parts of the track you want to loop! If you want a fadeout, or other modification made to the end so it's less abrupt, let me know and I'll most-likely be able to sort it out for you! :D

Cheers!

Just when I thought I was getting good at making 8-Bit music... =/ Well anyway, this pretty much serves its purpose for a soundtrack perfectly... A little too slow of a beginning, but it got its atmosphere down. A problem I see a lot with 8-bit music is that people don't often make their drops hard-hitting with powerful chords and snares, I think this is why Sky Summit is my best 8-bit themed song yet (In the opinion of me and my friends) They often fit the mood and sound nice, but don't really feel all too epic. Here I was expecting the same since it was slow, but got the mood down great, which most people who make that mistake do; but then the heavenly battle theme came blasting out powerfully and I was sold! You've done by having high release times and loud volume with the leading instrument while the background instruments sporadically try to fill the gaps!

Holy crap dude thank you so, so much!

I just went to check out your channel, and if anybody else here loves 8-bit, SERIOUSLY loyally retro sounding music, get your ass over there immediately!

Sky summit is awesome, but I LOVE the second battle theme for Card Battles of Carded Cardiness. Please keep up the awesome work, an d don't worry about not being trained in music theory! I'm self taught, too, and trust me, if I can bloody do it, so can you!

Thanks for the 4.5/5! :D

starts out all Castlevania, then explodes into some kinda Final Fantasy techno rave, strange mix but well done

JBeat2k9 responds:

Thanks IanSark! I had a ton of fun making this one, and have done some more 8-bit stuff since that I haven't posted yet! I'll be finishing it all up and posting it all soon!

Cheers for the 4.5!

Reminds me of Undertale's music! Classic with a side of modern

JBeat2k9 responds:

Undertale's soundtrack has blown me away. How can you not love Bonetrousle or Muffet's Theme?

Frickin' amazing!

Thanks for the 5! ^_^ <3

Also, having this compared to the soundtrack from Undertale is a huge compliment! Thank you!
