Sounds good to me.
Only thing the snare sounds a little "strange", like if it's from some bad drum VST than an electronic drum machine. But maybe that's just me.

One of my better projects to date, I think. Tried out a few new tricks with pads and other synths.

I´m glad you like it! There are several snares layered together, it´s possible that they are clashing and I just didn´t hear it. Thank you for pointing that out, I´ll watch out for that next time.

I felt that the kick/snare was kinda hollow in the main bits, could it be that it had a highpass filter?

No highpass, but the EQ-ing might have messed it up a bit. I´ll look for that in the future.
