Very cool and creepy songs, I only like songs that have epic drops, but this is still amazing
I've been reading quite a bit of Lovecraft lately. His short story "Dagon" became an immediate favorite, so when I found out there's a movie by the same title, I just had to see it. That's where the chanting samples came from; Stuart Gordon's Dagon. I do not have rights to these samples! The rest was all me and FL Studio 9. Cryochamber's dark ambient Cthulhu compilation was another great inspiration in the making of this. I'm happy I managed to push this thing out during the last week of October. For a moment it looked as if I weren't able to finish this in time. The mix was a bit of a stick up my ass but it's nice to experiment with sound design for a change.
Happy Halloween!
EDIT: really not that happy with the quality now that I've listened to it some more. The mix sucks pretty hard (especially displeased with the muddy organ) and there's noise towards the end. Must be the result of too many peakcontrollers. Maybe I'll fix it, we'll see.
