Many thanks @faerytaleadventurer for the great midi track,
be sure to check his music!

So here it is, my humble rendition of his work with my own instruments and fxS.
I had a lot of fun creating all those jazzy funky electro retro something patches.

Featuring VersilianStudio Upright Piano (for extra points^^), Charlatan's ring modulator,
Session Horns' FoPiCre articulation, Massive's performer,
FM8's matrix, Drumlab's mics, Alex Hilton's trancegate, TAL's choruses and delays from Valhalla!

Now does anyone know how to deal with a laptop on fire?

Pretty cool arrangement and mix. If you need to make something similar and want real horns (trumpet and trombone), let me know ;)

Nice groove. I've always wanted to make something like this that sounds simple and works perfect for a game soundtrack. Like there are no real drop or heavy beatchange in a song like this which is different.

"speech synthesizer " do you mean plogue? I downloaded it cause it was free but didn't get any sounds so haven't tried it after that.

Daru925 responds:

Thanks, please go check and praise this talented guy https://faerytaleadventurer.newgrounds.com/ as he created the melodies, and i created instrumentation for it as part of the challenge. I agree the groove was so good that thinking of instruments that would fit became an easy task!
Yes plogue, their free version was a woman voice that i liked, and its been replaced with some male voice iirc. If anyone can find the original version from the dark web something, please let me know, i dont have that synth anymore.

Man, I felt in a 70's movie for a moment.
Great version, very "faithful" to the original. I loved that "disco-funky" vibe.
The ending felt a little strange to me, but is just a minor detail.

Effin' dope, Daru! I'm so blown away with this remix. I'm flattered that you picked this one out of all the others to remix.

I wish I was able to devote more time to finishing the song, but I'm happy to see what you were able to pull off with what I had.

Keep up the wonderful work, bro, it sounds so pro and inspirational. Your choices of instruments and stuff totally makes this remix a thang.

Daru925 responds:

Hey, glad you like it^^
Upon listening to the midi (only pianos and drums), i immediately pictured what instruments would fit^^ It was easy :)
So if the track is good, its mostly because you made it very easy for me.

I later listened to your original on soundcloud, when i was looking for the name of the track, after finishing my version^^ Very nice!
