So I've been writing a bunch of these riffs for a long time from a lot of emotional stuff in the last couple of months and felt that I should just get the rough outline of what it sounds like down. I actually sat down and worked out the chord progression for a long while (technical reasons, I guess, all of the chords save for the ending chord are sort of complex and take all 6 strings to play, was interesting piecing them together, though the basic underlying progression/bassline I use all of the time)

In any case.. not very well recorded, I'm a pretty horrible guitar player, and the lead distorted guitar was having issues with popping/clicking and I didn't want to record a third time. For the most part this is just straight playing/improv with little in terms of production alterations except where really necessary (and of course effects and mixing/mastering). I hope that you guys can appreciate it for what it is and not look too far into just how bad it sounds (and how thrown on top the drums are.. I know, it's been a long night). So here it is, enjoy it.
