I wanted some music that related to some of the work I was doing. For those who don't know, I'm working on a mini painting series called SideTrip, about a boy and a little monster traveling in a lonely, desolate world. It just so happens I had an idea for a town that was mostly covered in fog.

Super atmospheric. Really paints the picture of this town covered in fog. It really makes you feel lost in this place. The only thing that was a little disappointing is that I wish the song lasted long enough for the piano to fade out completely. Other than that, fantastic piece!

Now I would write a long review and explain the it's and bits about it and what I like but I just can't because I see no flaws in this whatsoever. It's perfectly composed and just beautiful. It's an extraordinary piece and you can just feel the amount of emotion it puts off on people. I'm listening to this with my studio headsets and I just go " Wow! This is just gorgeous! " This is something you don't come across everyday because of how our music industry is so focused on the new and in. Honestly the music industry has no idea what they are missing, especially with someone as talented as you. This goes to show how someone without any real-time experience with music can make something completely out of the ordinary and capture everyone's hearts. Again amazing piece, fantastic composition, and beautifully made. Well done<3

Hey there! Thank you for your comment and thanks for taking a look at my stuff.

The SideTrip series began as an experiment into environment design for originally a comic. During the creation it was evident that creating it would require me a huge load of time so I decided to call off the comic for a more painting-by-painting series.

The boy has name, his name is Azure and he's one of the last humans to be on the planet. His friend is named Alex, the god of concealment or hiding. The world they travel is a world thousands of years from now, after humanity achieved utopia through a system of telepathic AI. The AI system remained in place for the next thousand years as humanity slowly dwindled in population, down to small tribes. The AI now curates, takes care, and attempts to preserve the last remaining race as well as the archives of the remains humans have left. Azure and Alex just so happen to be exploring that world.

SideTrip, in short is about the human legacy, memory, and loss. It's an ambient story that's only told through the two characters who explore the world until they reach what they call "home". No spoilers. I'll be making more paintings as time goes on. :)
