I got itching to make music one morning and I spent about 4 hours or so working on this piece. I couldn't have tightened down the mixing like I wanted to since using the demo forced me to do this all in one sitting. For example, all of my percussion sounds like it's being muffled through a cone and I couldn't figure out how to fix it without blaming it on the demo. Also I would have liked 01:19 to have been bigger.

But depending on how life goes depends on if there will be more short loops or possibly more full length stuff. I usually don't know what genre my music fits into so I picked house and I know it's not the best example of house.

Stay tuned...

Sounds good to me. I heard that traditional Spadezer chord right at the end which I liked. I wanted it to lead to more though ;_;

BTW that one melody at :49. One good trick is that when you have a note in a melody landing right on the beat, drag it back like a quarter beat or so, so it comes a little before the beat. It makes the melody more flowy or ... something... idk... just try it, you'll like it.

Spadezer responds:

I know what you mean. Having the lead come in a tad soon either lets the melody note settle a little bit or I can also imagine that it introduces the beat. I don't think I would ever think about doing that but I will definitely have to try it out.

Thanks for the tips.
