A vocal cut of the Wintang classic Time for Bed, enjoy zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz zzzzzzzzzz
and hey it is a classic. is such a lush track, i have untold respect for young tjeerd wintang... we kept in touch for a bit but he seemed to have dropped of the face of the earth. he was good guy and i e-miss him.
as soon as i heard the instrumental of this i could hear what it needed. i knew by now as well that he was a mike patton fan so it made perfect sense, some portugese vocals!
as i don't speak a word of the language i hit some random translation site and had a go. the lyrics are quite beautiful i'm sure, regardless of gramatical errors...
2020 - timeless beauty in this track from wintang. I cannot praise the man enough for this; what a piece of work. Jah bless... some of the vocals make me cringe but here we are.

First my congratulations to Wintang! This is surely a winner with the vocals... portuguese... well... I wouldn't say this is full portuguese (or brazilian portuguese... I thing you just created your own way to speak it), especially with some spanish words (esperanza... esperança... not so diferent I guess) in the middle! "Nada flutua como tu..." Very beautiful add and I am always flatered by the use of portuguese, my language, spoken in any way possible.... "esbanjar"...

that ending always reminds me of the water music from mario 64... I think it's the strings...
at any rate, tremendous job with the vocals. and good call doing them in spanish. perfect, perfect, perfect. not much more to be said. I agree with what that other review said, though; you two should team up and do an album. I'd buy it. Hell, I'd buy two.

like i said b4, typical cheesy love song really. keep an eye on the audio forum lounge, i'll get wintang to post the lyrics i sent him at the time, they are a bit dodgy i think coz i was having trouble reverse translating them, i have a terrible short term memory.
