It's been a while...and it's summer break, so I really don't have an excuse (the middle of it, even) but...here I am.
So, this was something I made for an English project (it's always kick-ass when you can compose for an English project) and...I'm just now getting around to actually RECORDING the vocals for it. I'm not really sure how I feel about it...the vocals sound out of place, but I can't figure out why. I tried screwing around with it, but nothing really helped. If anyone has a suggestion as to how I could make this sound better, I'm all ears.
This song was at least partially inspired by that one spiritual song...uh...what was it called again? The one with the...oh, yeah! The poor wayfaring stranger song! That one! It was always really catchy...
At any rate, not much else to say, so here's the lyrics, if you're so inclined:
