EDIT: Welp, I fixed the beginning, edited the submission and uploaded the new file... but the new file isn't streaming, it's still the old file. :/ ??

This is for the NIM contest, placed under Menu/Titles.
Inspired by this piece of art.

I put it as a loop so it will play automatically.

I pretty much broke my computer trying to make this, haha. I spent six hours today opening the project file, deleting all instruments besides one, and exporting one instrument at a time. Did that for each instrument. Frrrrustrating. lol It's not perfect, but I'm so done, so here. ;)
I look forward to working on this song again once I acquire a faster computer.

Beautiful piece of music and it totally fits with the artwork as well. I find art is almost a must if I'm making music otherwise I have a hard time coming up with anything at all.
As menu music it would have to be a really epic game to be worth this music.=)
Also, if you don't mind my asking, what vocals vst do you use? It sounds fantastic!

Very well done! Hope to hear more like this in the future!

AshleyAlyse responds:

Thank you kindly! :) I don't look at art much for inspiration, I probably should because it certainly is helpful and provides a direction for music to follow.
I used Soundiron's choirs and Shevannai. :3

This is beautiful. It doesn't loop as well as it could because the beginning sounds like a fragment rather than a beginning. Is that you singing out of curiosity? Though could be a vst lol. This is really beautiful other than that. Great job. This seems more like title music or menu music, or even for an opening, but I guess I could see it as depressing game over music. Nice work. Beautiful.

Nah, the female vocals are two vsts I combined. :) I'm gonna try to sing for my songs in the future though. The song was longer, but I couldn't finish it due to stoopid compoohta. So yeah, I cut the beginning off in Audacity, but... I have nothing but my noobness to blame for the beginning note fragment, haha. I'll see if I can cut it better. :) As for being placed in Game Over, I actually wasn't too sure what to place it under. I saw Game Over had a minute and less requirement, so I put it under that since my song is less than a minute. I wasn't sure if my song was too short to place it under other categories. XD If there is no time requirement for other categories, yeah, I'd probably like to switch it, hehe.
Thank you very much. :3
