Second song made AND posted today! I'm feeling pretty damn proud. This one is a little more drum and bass-y, but it's more techno than anything. Or trance? I have no freaking clue man, I can't even put a genre to my song. Help?

...LOL anyways, I wanted to experiment a little with techno/trance gates with a drum and bass type beat. Then there's that chiptune type synth. This song is everywhere! But me and my piano keyboard had fun doing it. I had fun making the drum pattern, spending like an hour (literally!) making the bass sound just right, free-styling with the bells, doing a little bit of mastering (WHICH I NEVER EVER DO). The best part is, I didn't plan this song out. At all. I just went with the flow of what I thought might sound good.

Overall, this song was hella fun. No pre-made loops, no samples, none of that. I had to cut it short though, for my attention span while working on songs is super short. What can I sayyy? I'm a girl who doesn't like to spend a whole bunch of time on things....

Pretty good work here SynthGoddess, you give it a special "chiptune" feeling all over the song, but it only improves the main melodies, and drums. Personally, I would put more volume on the kick, but that's only my preference, I really enjoyed the whole theme and the nice work with the EQ, compression stuff, some producers do not care about that, but you seem to put some dedication on these details, and in the final result is essential to do such a balanced tune. Keep up the good work! :3

you made my favorite song with my favorite elements, DnB drums, Chip synths and awesome ambient pads, this song is more along the lines of electro house with some slight ambient parts

the gated synth was pretty good if it's your first attempt on one, you got a knack for music like this especially if you just went by the flow of it too
this song is pretty damn awesome and i love it, i dont usually favorite or download a song but this song deserves it
listening to those bells i have like hundreds of melody ideas for them
the bass was pretty awesome too, more plucky dark acid kinda vibe
drums are pretty cool too, you should try layering drum hits, like take some regular snare and then throw a louder hard hitting snare right over it and have the 2 work together, i've done that a lot and you can really make some cool stuff like that,
lol i never really master my songs either ;p theres like 7 that i tried to master but i don't think i did well,
anyway
this song was pretty awesome to listen too its 3AM for me and i was outside listening to this and it echoed right through my neighborhood lol fit well with nighttime too

i really enjoyed this song and i really hope there will be an extended version one day
seriously keep it up ^_^
