This is my take on one of the very first Audio Portal submissions that can be found here: http://www.newgrounds.com/audio/listen/1022

I just liked how simple that melody really is, and how it can adapt to many scenarios and arrangements. Ultimately, I wanted to create a dreamy and experimental atmosphere, with an underlining tension beneath all the noises and interference you can hear.

ForgottenDawn responds:

Thank you

This is bliss. Love the production. Love the textures.

Reminds me a bit of "The Flashbulb" stylistically, in the best of ways.
Very fresh.
Very full sounding.

5/5 - Would fall asleep and dream of being an existentialist cyborg to

ForgottenDawn responds:

Thank you, I hope you have awesome and inspiring dreams :)

This is beautiful. Really, really so.

You have really done that loop justice and then some =]

In contrast to the previous review, I think this perfect the way it is. The changes that are here a subtle enough not to detract from the overall smooth ambiance of the piece, but enough to add that bit of depth into it. Your use of dynamics is spot on I think as well.

As I am listening for the 3rd time, it's pretty fun to try and pick apart what is going on as well. I have a feeling there is a lot going on, but so peacefully.

Thank you for sharing this. I know I am going to be listening to it for a long time to come =]

ForgottenDawn responds:

Thank you for listening! I loved how that simple melody played in many different ways in my mind, so I tried to convey different feelings as well :) I'm really glad you enjoyed it, thank you for your insight

A bit repetitive, but it has some great atmosphere to it. I wish it had more changeups but the subtle progression of the atmosphere sounds nice. Other than that the song is good, and relaxing, though I feel it could use more.

ForgottenDawn responds:

Hey, thanks for your input! Well it's mainly an atmospheric track, so repetitive patterns are almost a given in these circumstances, especially if the context is that of a video game level. I agree that I could have expanded the atmosphere some more, but since the contest theme is made of video game-related concepts, I think the track should also reflect that kind of philosophy, like setting the right mood which is very important. But anyways, thanks for dropping by!
