HA Love it! sounds like I missed out.
TroisNyx, my wife and I performed this song to help you out during this hard time you're going through. You are in our prayers.
We know we're nearing the end of days and things are tough for everyone and everyone is hurting, but we have a God that always with us and He'll never leave us or forsake us. Even when things are hard or terrible He's walking with us. We must not forget this.
I am playing mandolin and singing at the same time (I'm not too good at that, so it doesn't sound the greatest) and my wife is singing with me. Seems my accent came out a bit near the end.
Thank You, Jesus, for dying for us. Thank You for allowing everyone, heathen and Jew alike, to have a living relationship with a living God. You are worthy of all praise and we long for the day when we see You face to face, when every tear will be wiped away and we will be made like You. In Jesus' name I pray, amen.
If you've never heard this song, it's a song by Matt Redman. You can find the lyrics online easily.

Y'know it's funny, but I was going to ask if you wanted to sing for this before we decided to do a simple recording.
Eh, this song is okay. It sounds like you both kinda just sat down with a single microphone though. The mandolin is way too loud, your playing is kinda off kilter, and you and your wife didn't harmonize entirely too well either. I recommend multi-tracking next time so you can control the volume of everything a bit better, and also so you can play the mandolin separate from singing, that way both can come out sounding tighter.
We did not practice. We DID just sit around a crappy condenser mic. We will NOT make it pretty for you.
I need no advice. This is what it is. Deal with it.
If you want something that was made to be a piece and not just worship and a gift, listen to my other tracks.
Please contact me if you would like to use this in a project. We can discuss the details.
