I didn't like it, primarily (among other things) because of the speed of the song. I know that it's 70's funk and if you were to remix it to be 70's funk it has to be slow, but before you even remix it, think if the type of remix you're doing would fit the song. A remix barely changes the song- it just opens up a new way to listen to it. This, at least for me, almost completely changed the song.
This, just like many others, is a Sonic The Hedgehog song. Its composition is designed to be played at a fast tempo, no matter what way you play it or remix it. When you take that fundamental design choice out, it's like taking a sculpture that was made to look futuristic and saying, "I'm going to make this look goth," and then remaking it to look goth. It doesn't WORK. On the other hand, if you said, "I'm going to give this sculpture a new paint job," that would be "remixing" the statue in a way that doesn't take out a fundamental design choice- it looking futuristic.
Hope this helps, and no hard feelings/hate. (I hope I explained myself well. I feel unsteady with this review....) =)

P.S. As a side note, underlying beats have immense power when attempting to deliver a specific feel for your song to the listener. This song had a slow (if any, sometimes I didn't even hear one) underlying beat. Now let's take something like "Infiltration," (ID: 157014) which has a very rapid underlying beat (note: the beat I'm talking about doesn't show up until 0:13 ). Hear those extremely fast drums in the background? (If it helps to identify it, it's the kind of drums that would send a shockwave through you.) That's the main (if not ONLY) thing giving this song an adrenaline-rush feel. If you had the overlaying song (the non-background-beat part of it) with a smooth jazz beat, it would even out to neutral at best. At worst, the song would either feel slow and jazzy or the listener would put down their earphones and go outside for a run.
Listen to the beginning, which doesn't have that fast beat. Is it action-y? Heck yeah. Is it FAST, though? No, not really. You get the impression of something related to action, like fighting for example, when you listen to the beginning. Fast doesn't really come along until you hit 0:13, which is when the underlying beat kicks in with guns a-blazin' and starts acting like your football coach yelling, "LET'S MOVE BOYS! GO! GO! GO! HUT-2-3-4! HUT-2-3-4! I'VE SEEN BETTER FROM A LIMP B**CH COVERED IN MOLASSES IN HEAT! MOVE IT!"
Hope this helps, too. =)
