Got a bunch of samples of Numbers Stations through the Conet Project's site, there's some really interesting sounds being transmitted by those stations, and I decided to go about building a small track around it.
In the spirit of the Conet Project, this track is a freebie and will be on my Shadows Album as a free individual download :)
Wow, fucked up song, but very good. Definitely a huge improvement in quality and your skills is observable especially in this song.
Industrial very well fits this song, the machine sounds which come in after 00:16 really seem to make this fit in the genre, this song really has a strange vibe, a strange feeling to it, it would not just fit for espionage scenes but also for scenes in which someone becomes completely insane I would say.
The voice samples are very well used, this shit is awesome.
All those voice snippets I pulled from Numbers Stations, those things are damned creepy but fascinating to look into, assuming you suddenly don't get accosted by G men hahah
I like the beat here, but that bass that kicks in ~:32, holy shit man. Just what I needed to keep this morning rolling along. Thanks for sharing.
That bass is the only synthesis I actually did in this project, and half of that bass is actually a signal they broadcast on one of the Russian numbers stations.
This was pretty fun to do, I might do a few more tracks in this kind of style but with full synths and less sampling.
