This song has been annoying me since I thought I'd get it done a lot sooner, so trust me when I say I put a lot of time and effort into this song, along with prayer. I put a lot of work into all of my songs, but still.

I scrapped lyrics several times and scrapped vocal melodies over and over. Tried rapping, jazz styled singing, Southern gospel inspired vocals, etc. I ended up doing what I always do, just chill out the vocals and it works.

Tried to keep the instrumental simple while still filling it out.

Lyrics (ripped directly from my notepad):

Will possibly fix grammar issues and stuff later, but this is the kind of thing I look at when I sing my songs.

Nice track. Actually quite liked the wierd intro. Really helped to add to the mysterious aura of the song :). The lyrics are pretty fantastic, and I love the singing :D. Perfect for this song. The arrangement of the song is spot on, and the mixing is really well done, especially considering the vocals as well :D.

Don't really have much wrong to say about this one :). Maybe the voices could have come clearer to thhe mix at some points, as I can't always hear what you're singing.

I've been using a Logitech USB headset for vocals for 7 years now and that is why the vocals aren't crisp. I'm getting a new vocal setup worked out right now, but even after that is all good, I think I'm doing all the songs for this album with the headset for the sake of conformity.

I had slightly mixed feelings about the song. It started off a little weird and kind of never got to the point where I thought it was going to go. Right after the introduction it did get a lot better, but something the entire time it just seemed really off. I can't quite put my finger on it though. Maybe it's just a style I'm not use to, but it almost sounded like two different opposing styles that quite didn't come together. I don't know though, did any of that make sense haha?

The lyrics were nice, the message was nice, the vocals were pretty good. A decent piece all around, but perhaps not my cup of tea.

The intro was a bit confusing for me, but as soon as the lyrics came in, it became clear how the progression was structured.

A very chill song. Keep up the good work :)

I'm going to flat out admit that before I had listened to that keyboard riff a couple hundred times, the opening with no other instruments confused me as well and I almost didn't start it that way.

It's a real brain disruptor without any complimenting instruments. Even though I wrote it. >.>

Seeing a song with actual lyrics on newgrounds is a rare thing, so thats a big plus itself
Beside that I love the music and your voice.
