CinePerc Epic is so awesome. I'm very glad I got Epic instead of Pro. I also got a few 8Dio percussion libraries, such as Dhol, Frame Drum, Tom and Taiko Ensembles. Although they sound massive, I wish 8Dio perc libs have more mic position like CinePerc and Stormdrum 2. However, I really like the diverse sound of round robins in 8Dio percussion, which something Stormdrum lacks of. There is Drum of War 2 in here, used for smaller percussion.

Everything was manually arranged, no loop. Shouts were from Epic Taiko Ensembles, and the kick was from free 8DM Try Pack. List of percussions used in this short track:

Hira-daiko, shime daiko, dadaiko, surdo, gran cassa, dunun, toms, dhol, frame drums and cajon.

Since you left me a review, I wanted to return the favor :)
The first time I listened to it, I didn't realize it was in fact a 55 seconds loop. It is really powerful yet diverse, even if there is only percussion and shouts. I could definitely hear it in a professional game or movie. Oh, and this kind of low kick sound works really well too.
Great job ! :)

I love the start of this before it even sends you into the nitty gritty of the meat and potatoes of it all. It is already sending you into Hell before you get there. A totally blind fear, running for your life. My heart won't calm it'self down for nothing. Awesome work again, I'm always amazed. Thanks for sharing again.

I was expecting something different based on the title at first (spelling nitpick: "corps"), but I'm a sucker for things that emulate Kumi-daiko groups. Very liberal use of kakegoe here. I like the 8Dio Ensemble's collection of shouts to choose from, though it's really easy to recognize what software library it's from after you've heard it once (which has always been my issue with vocal FX/shouts/etc.). Though you're throwing in percussion from just about every corner of the planet, it feels mostly like an especially elaborate Kumi-daiko piece. The fusion of all those big drums definitely reaches for that modern "massive" feeling in it. I like the rhythms themselves, though I hear what you mean about the lack of mic positions in the 8Dio libraries. Short, but sweet. I always enjoy percussion features <3

Nice percussion work man!
And I hear ya, I wish they had more mic positions as well or maybe an option to at least control the Reverb @_@. I own Tom and Taiko Ensembles as well and it's not very easy to mix them with my other libraries but they do sound nice on their own.
