This may sound kind of awkward at first because of the weird instruments, but after looping once or twice it started to grow on me.
This is intended to convey the feeling of a bustling town with carpenters and smithies working away, merchants peddling their wares while keeping a sharp lookout for anyone trying to slip a thumb onto their scales, and carts going down the streets a little too fast that might run you over if you're not careful.
I was imagining a final fantasy-ish game with a mixture of a bunch of different humanoid-like species in this town, so it was intentionally made with a hodgepodge of instruments that don't normally go together - whatever percussion you might find on a street, a fiddle, a horn that sounds sort of goose-like, and something that I guess is a giant rubber band (hopefully you have speakers with enough bass to hear it). Like the town it represents, it's written to be chaotic with a brisk tempo, yet somehow have everything work together almost despite itself. It was challenging, but I think I pulled it off ok.
Please contact me if you would like to use this in a project. We can discuss the details.
