this took some time to get done, if you have some time to blast this on a subwoofer please do so, theres alot of layering with the bass and synth so using a subwoofer might get you the most out of this, hope you guys like it, let me know what you think.

Sweet!

The first part isn't bad. For what it is it's not so bad, but it does its job of setting up the rest of the song. The only big complaint I will mention is that I think the vocals would have been better an octave higher or have both this octave and the higher one singing at the same time (I'm sorry if this is you or someone you know but it makes him sound a bit creepy IMO). However I digress, which leads me to 00:45 when the chorus hit. Man, when you work at it, you can make big and beautiful atmospheres. I suggest whatever you do, try to focus on that and you'll go far. The chorus takes the melody of the lyrics and adds ton of emotion to them. The dubstep bits don't get in the way either. You did a good job in being careful that the wubwubs didn't take the feeling away. Props.

I do have to apologize about falling off the face of Newgrounds and then suddenly showing up all like "Woah cool a Pandasticality song!" I graduated college and during the last month of it both my laptop and my keyboard decided to give up, and I've spent up till last week getting a job. So I'll probably miss some contests this year but as this year progresses you'll get to see me more often. I don't know how I rank in your list of favorites, but this is my first activity in like six months and I'm starting to get antsy about making something now that I'm getting money eventually, but it's good to see... uh ... hear more of your music. I still have Future playing in my playlist. ;)

Don't give up ... on me ... unless you want to. That's fine. I won't judge.

Pandasticality responds:

i get the afk from NG for a while, i just did that too, i was just so stuck up with work, currently working as a researcher so free time is rare, oh and the vocals weren't mine, it was a first timer in the studio, a friend of mine, never singed before and i thought id give him a chance and see if he could actually do something, i thought he did well considering its his first time even tho the vocals sound a little awkward.

Thank you for the review Spadezer.

The only flaw I see is the vocal build in the beginning. The drop is gentle without being underwhelming, and those snare rolls are nice. The melody seemed to sit just a tad higher than the rest of the track, however. Overall, great work. I like your production style a lot! Just wish that last note would hang rather than chopping off like that.

Pandasticality responds:

thanks for the review, yeah the melody does seem a bit higher which was a mistake :x should've turned it down just a little.

I love the storyline. I love that there IS a storyline. So much melody too. Really emotional. Cinematic almost.

Pandasticality responds:

hope you enjoyed it n__n)b

Hm.

This pretty good. I don't like dubstep myself, but I quite prefer this flavor of the genre more-so than it's harder and more grimier variants.

Melody is good, though a little too loud. It's sat right on top of everything. Also, bit more EQ in the higher ranges of that synth. Could be smoother.

In fact, your vocals should take that place here, as they sound like they're a tad bit further back. Vocals should be taking precedence here with everything following closely behind.

I also feel like you should push those vocals a little more creatively. Instead of your general vocal build, you could have done some pretty wacky things that would have caught interest more as it just... seems a little underwhelming as soon as it drops. (That's just me, of course.)

Funnily enough, I feel the basslines could be a tad louder as well. They're good. Wouldn't hurt to push it just a couple dB more. Also not sure if it's not me, but sub needs more warmth.

Composition is well made. Piano work is sweet and chill.

Ending is a tad abrupt as you don't let the Piano resonate after that last note.

Nevertheless, this is great. I can dig it. Well done.

Pandasticality responds:

much appreciated critique, thank you sir! oh and their not my vocals, their my colleagues.
- Pandasticality

Impressive, did you do the vocals?

Melody has got a nice chill feeling while dancing with the bass dives, then i felt it ended so fast.
The kick could be alittle louder or punch through the track more, the rest of the mix sounds well on my headsets but I didnt check it on my monitors/sub since it 2am :P

anyways thanks for sharing.

Pandasticality responds:

thanks for the review, no their not my vocals, i cant sing, their a fellow colleagues.
