0:00-2:40. I'm right there with you. 2:40-3:57/ I don't know man... 3:58-4:24. All right, lets do this. 4:25-End. WTF?
I'm glad you're producing again, but this felt more like a disjointed mashup of unconnected ideas, like several chapters just placed sequentially. The keys just didn't fit for me, nor did the pads. I was waiting for the harshness that the intro set up, and it never came.
I guess that makes me a dissenter, yet again.
I wanted to make it barely function as a piece of "music" and use sound design and automation to violently stitch it together.
This distorted, yet clear beat. It has something special about it and I like it.
Good work as always, keep it up!
Thanks, buddy. Its always a pleasure.
A lot of texture! After listening to this, and if I were to simply go to a piece of my own, any other piece just sounds too empty. So great mix and arrangements here. This piece has a lot of drive and energy. I love moments like at 55 seconds. Would like to hear more like this from ya
I wrote, arranged and mixed this well before it became part of HG:MSOTTA. A product of chemical abuse, sleep deprivation and a love interests lack of appreciation for what I do and what I stand for artistically. She actually argued that my dedication to my craft (time spent, attention dedicated to, etc.) was something I was doing to her. Such a villain, I am. ;)
Women. *shakes head*
wow love this style at last some good music thanks !!
It's (at least my) priority to bring new things into the world. I could take sounds I've previously developed and repeat them over and over, but thats boring and entirely too easy. Artistically, I prefer challenging ideas and thriving in obscurity over riding previous success (both mine and others) in order to stay in favor of the masses. I create on my terms. At all costs.
