For my final contribution to the late "Dead Isles" project, I tried writing something decidedly less hopeless and intimidating, rather something that could be heard in an inn or other safe haven. I believe this is the only track that actually used two instruments, as well.
The tune for this also draws from what was going to be the theme of another project I'd had rattling around my head for a few years called "One Real." Rather fading with time, it found its way out of my fingertips into this.
The bells coming in at the 1 minute mark are ace, sucker for nice high frequency content. Gives it that extra layer that rounds it off as a project.
Can see what you mean about the Inn or some kind of broken in encampment, waiting anxiously for the first light of day to break.
