Modern Soul-like Instrumental Loop

There's a lot that could be said about this piece.
All the instruments except the Bass and Brass are ones offered by ImageLine for free to use in FLstudio.
The Bass is the Scarbee Rickenbacker Bass by NI.
And the Brass are..... I forget. But it's a SF2 File.

When working on an instrument set for a song I start with a small cheesy 4 bar loop. From there I can pre-mix and set the sounds together before I put together the actual music.
This has some drawbacks but over-all saves about half an hour or more of work later.

Initially I wanted to make Blues, but the instruments I picked up(the ones you're hearing) definitely aren't very Bluesy. I know these instruments aren't really Funk either, so I just on a whim looked into Soul music.
From there I found it was perfect for my instrument set, so I decided I'd give it a go.

I had a version where I had recorded Vocals. I improvised through all of it and mostly sang about the after life. I didn't like the end result so I took them out, but kept a same akin to it.

And so, 3.25 hours of working total, and here we are.
