ㅤㅤMade it 2 years ago, readjusted the velocity of some notes and polish it before uploading here. I personally like it very much that I didn't get bored even after I listened to it about 100 times during composing. (Am I a musical narcissist right now?)

Your thoughts on this sundae are always useful for us. Feel free to review it the way you want!

I am listening to this while doing my homework. Definitely one of the best songs I have ever heard. It doesn't deserve to be called a song, this should be called a masterpiece. Thank you for making this. It is definitely worth downloading.

I can't say it's my masterpiece since I spent my effort in every piece equally. I'm glad you like this, anyway.

mellow melody to the ears... so beautiful

Thanks very much. :)

Yes, really nice, really peaceful and soothing! The main theme is what gets this song going, and that's probably what makes this song lose it's boringness (not saying it's boring). What I would suggest though, is maybe to mix up the chord beat a bit. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I noticed that all the chords were always either whole notes or eighth notes. It's not bad, but a bit of change would have been nice. Other than that, I really liked it! Keep it up!

I don't know what it is called either since I didn't know much about music theory. But I see what you want to say. Thanks for pointing this out. I wondered what it was missing.

the average artist has to self promote like crazy to protect themselves from obscurity

Whats the point of spending long hours working on brand new art projects without anyone paying attention?

I wish more artists didn't consider shameless self promotion to beneath them.

You had a clever idea of using the newgrounds front page message as an advertisement.

It is a simple advertising trick but seems to be surprisingly effective.

As for the music itself.

The recording sounded surprisingly clean and it could be entirely possible that the piano was electronic.

The track could be improved by accompanying the piano keys with other instruments.

The music had the sound of classical and additional instruments would add onto the sound.

Adding instruments is not an easy task since bands need more than one musician.

You can also play each instrument and than mix the recordings into one; However, a well formed band will make recording less work.

Fortunately music simulation programs can add other musical instruments into the mix.

I look forward to your new music.

Stick with shameless self promotion because I would have over looked this in other circumstances.

Noisysundae responds:

Eh? Is shameless self promotion good or not then? I think it's a way to let more people see my submission. About this sundae, I use a DAW called FL studio to arrange the notes since I made mostly electronic music. I didn't actually play the piano but I composed it myself.

Would you look at that. Frontpage messaging can really help advertising XD
I'm glad it brought me here :)
I love the refreshing feel to this piece. It is indeed spring, although it might take a while for it to really settle where I live.

I often listen to my tracks as well, mostly just after I finish them. Partly because I want to see if there's still something to improve, but also because it can be enjoyable. I don't think it's narcissistic.

This is pretty good for not actually having been played on a real/electronic piano, but for being made on the piano roll instead.
So... Good job!
