I had a lot of fun making this song. I've always struggled with making defining melodies, so this is my attempt at practicing with making a melody and defining it through the song.

Thank you much for listening! :)

The tune sounds similar to the Battlefield theme, not saying its bad ofcourse as you deserve way more attention for this piece!

Theres a lot of good stuff here! You set the heroic mood. The Brass punches with the snare goes nicely and really sets the "hook" in the intro. Then you take a break with lighter punches and lead into a string solo. Very nice use of "call and return" between instruments. Then we go back into the action/bridge until we see another break with bass strings and the intro returns/ Hook.

I know i just read your whole piece, but don't get me wrong, this is not bad. You did a good job in transitions and I really liked the melody.

From a mixing perspective. I believe there still needs work. It needs to be more louder to really get the big "WOW" before you go into your two breaks. As well as dramatizing your instruments with reverbs or delays to give that sense of distance, as if in a real orchestra hall.
I'm curious to know how did you mix this and what did you use?

Keep up the good work tho. You know how to arrange very well!

Thank you very much for the review! I greatly appreciate it.

For the mixing, this has been something that I've always had trouble with for two reasons. One, I'm still unsure how to get good sounding mixing. Two, my current computer is too slow to handle post effects. Even during the production of this song, all the instruments alone would cause the sound to pop and crackle. This will not be a concern for long, however.

So, my mixing for this was as extensive as "a little reverb" and some panning, which I know is less than ideal...

Once again, I very much appreciate the review. :) This was in no way intended to sound like an excuse. I will learn how to mix better and begin practicing. Thanks again!
