reminds me of the ninties
I have since a few months back been part of the two man team known as "Felectronix", a game developement company started by a highly talented friend of mine. From the remnants of "Supersplat", "Swirrel" and "Hardpoint" our first complete game was created. During late 2014 the game "Tap!" saw the light of day. The concept is a kind of Simon Says on steroids, having you follow green instructions while doing the opposite of the red ones. The game is currently only available for Android devices, and can be downloaded here: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.felectronix.tap
Writing the soundtrack for this game was both challenging and liberating at the same time, not to mention a whole lot of fun as well! With the paid version of the game coming up I was assigned to write two rock/electronic songs, and I felt right at home. I paid some obvious homage to the Megaman soundtracks with this track, Megaman Zero Mythos in particular, a soundtrack/album I hold close to heart.
As far as mixing goes it was quite challenging to get all instruments to sit right, but I think I did a decent job(considering approaching deadlines). The only things I would have liked to change as far as instruments go are the drums, since the EXS24's drum kits are not my cup of tea.
