Back to my regular release schedule.

I'm big on the procrastination and what not.

This beat has been sitting on my Laptop's Hard Drive for about 4 months.

I just finished writing a verse to it.

Perhaps someone would be willing to take the mic and spit over the rest.

Written Verse: (Starts at 0:46)
There's no need to interpret one phrase some certain way
it's still the same shit you've been spewing, just a different day
My mind is in a fuzzy place, I can't see a perfectly clear reason why we've been disgraced
An entire alien race just up and left this area of space
If not for fear then what else?
Is there anyone who can answer whatever goes on up there?
Why should I not take what you have to offer without a grain of salt
Then go home and make a work of art
I try to sell it to you as is authored, you tore it apart and straight defaulted
Finally exalted I get busy on the decks
And when push came to shove you halted
Your program failed to wreck the crates of wax that I pole vaulted
My tracks are insane while yours are inane
I stand tall and proud while you're left out in the falling rain
Without a drop of propane to dull the unforgiving pain
I saw, I came, I disappeared like David Blaine and I was never seen again
I hitched a ride on a plane while you're stuck dancing your dance, losing your game
Just be sure to remember the name
Don't resort to a lame claim to fame
You'll be the one to blame when they find your carcass buried deep beneath the plains

Enjoy the choon.

This shit knocks!

Libby-Shimmz responds:

Thank you kind sir!

Bro.
There are so many great things about this track that I cant even get them all.
The chanting is awesome. The brass is crazy. The bass is a bumpin.

Very sick instrumental man.
5/5

Libby-Shimmz responds:

Thanks for the love!

I don't usually create rap beats, so I don't know how valuable my opinion is here, but this beat is dope af. The bass is weird because it shouldn't fit in, but it just makes everything sound so dark. Totally bad ass. Like everyone else is saying, it's obvious that a lot of the orchestra and percussion stuff is sliced, but it works. The beat is atonal, which gives it that dark, haunting sound. Sick stuff, man.

Beautiful, I really enjoy dark or sad tracks. A bit choppy but hey it sound amazing (and by choppy I mean I like your sliced hi-hats and snares). I also enjoy dull/frigid beat that plays behind those sliced ones. A solid 5/5 would listen again and again. :)

Libby-Shimmz responds:

Thanks for the comments man.

Strong stuff. I liked the these sliced beats just because it's my personal taste (goot taste lol). I still feel melodic notes and progression are not perfectly planned out, transition at 1:36 is a bit too weird and not sure about the bassline really. And the orchestral hit sometime feels somewhat clipped sometimes not in a very good way.

Libby-Shimmz responds:

Yeah, I don't really strive for perfect tone when it comes to making my own melodies. Atnoality is ill in my opinion.

As far as clipping, the track doesn't go above 0.0db.
