This is a nice reflective track. It has almost a David Gilmour vibe to it.
+ I liked the overall feel of the song. You definitely accomplished getting that ambient rock style.
+ The call and response type thing you had going on between the bass in the chords and the higher notes was interesting.
+ The Chimes. Harmonics are always fun.
+ The Guitar playing was good.
- It got kinda repetitive towards the end.
- The reverb seemed to muddy the guitar sound in a few parts.
Overall, you have a pretty good tune here. I liked the laid back feel of it. You did a good job on this one. Enjoy using your new interface to create all kinds of new music! 7/10
The "bass" effect was entirely coincidental, i just messed with the reeverb and delay a bit to create a kind of harmonic bass lol That might have been the cause of the little muddyness that atacked sometimes
I am glad you liked it, it got repetitive towards the end because i kinda improvised this in one sit XDD I just cut off the parts i didn't like and then recorded the second gutiar above everything :3
Nice tune! Very relaxing as it sets a mellow mood. Which guitar are you playing? It's got a nice tone. Can you do 80's rock style? I was wanting to collaborate with someone who can. Anyway, great job man! #R4R.
I havent tried, but yeah i have plenty of 80's presets to make sound a guitar in that style, i am always open to collab too ^-^ just drop a message :3
which audio interface? ive been trying to record guitar into my pc with no latency but had some issues. Your playing style is very similar to mine, I like the reverb and delay and fx and harmonic stuff..Ive made 100s of tracks in similar style over the years so really like this.....I see you got some bass in it also? Is that you are a synth?
A good idea might be to hook up your guitar music with fruity loops or ableton etc then you can add drums and other synths...thats my plan.
Anyway onto the tune itself, I like it as its my style, it gets repetitive though its short loop really. Its quite a simple recording so not much more i can say about it, nice guitar notes and sounds...I enjoyed it...cheers
A cheap Lexicon Alpha, it has some little buzzing (It might be my cheap guitar though) but is nothing that a little denoise can't fix.
Also, yeah, i used FL Studio, (I used Guitar Rig loaded into a mixer channel), i intentionally kept it as a single instrument song to give it a lonely feel, a feeling of being utterly abandoned by everyone.
Also, no bass, just a bit of EQ on the low notes and messing with the reeverb a bit :3
"The fella' had a long journey ahead of him as he rode through the desert upon the back of his only friend. The horse that once belonged to a long-lost companion. The scorching-sun soon began to play tricks on his mind. He's but a cruel one when a man thinks he can withstand him for too long. The man did his best to stay sane for his own sake. At least until the friendly moon had shown his face and turned the fires of hell cold."
See what you did? I'm telling stories and crap!
I could totally protrait that witht he track in the back hahahahaha
its pretty atmospheric and i can easily imagine a nice walk in the wastelands of fallout with that song. i dont see why i shouldnt give you 5 stars bro. good job!
Thanks ^^ I am glad you liked it :3
