Three months ago, I participated in a small remix contest held by FLAOFEI for his original song "I Was Never Alive," and I was lucky enough to win! After the contest was over, I was given permission to upload this wherever. In addition, this song contains no samples from the original; it is all my own aside from the MIDIs that were given, and I altered those slightly.

The unique and catchy melody from the original prompted me to create the remix. "I Was Never Alive" by FLAOFEI is intentionally quite rugged, so I challenged myself to give it a new feeling. The instrumentation I used, coupled with the mood of the melody, evoked images of a snowy tundra in my mind, so I implemented that notion into the work. I'm happy with it!

In the making of this track, I used TAL-Elek7ro, NES Pulse, NES Tri, NI Massive, reFX Nexus, and drums from Varien's sample pack. Arranged in FL Studio.
