I like all your music including this one, but can you do me a solid? Please just write one song that isn't dark, dismal, gloomy or dreary, has a dull, droning, cyborg voice and doesn't have incredibly melancholy lyrics that sound like they're from a stereotypical nu metal song?
You actually don't have to do this if you really don't want to. I hope my criticism isn't too destructive. I'm trying to sound as constructive as I can when I critique. I think you're a brilliant, talented, underrated musician who deserves more recognition than you've been getting. If writing an uplifting, cheery song isn't your style, you don't have to do this. It's merely a recommendation. I'm just concerned that too many of your songs provoke feelings of grief, despondency, pain, agony and suffering. As an artist, I feel that you should create music that provokes a wide variety of emotions and appeals to all audiences alike.
PS Keep up the good Work! Who's Tara Strong? Are you referring to the actress who provides the voice for Timmy Turner from Fairly Oddparents?
I guess many of my songs are quite depressing. I had a very difficult childhood and I think that the trauma I endured affected me greatly. It comes out in my music I think, which may or may not be healthy. My music is an outlet for my depression, it's a way of getting the pain out of my mind. When there's no more pain, I'll start writing happy songs.
Tara Strong was the voice of Bubbles from the Powerpuff Girls. I came up with the keyboard riff while watching the show with my sister. She's now addicted to cocaine, so I guess that's more depression.
Why I don't think Tara strong will hate this at all. Well I guess you do say, "celestial" a lot. I think she has copyright to that word now.
I don't like that deadpan sound robot voice makes. It feels like its brainwashing me.
