I am still trying to figure out how to finish this. If you have any ideas tell me.

Would make a nice little loop for a final level of some sort... can't see why it isn't finished, though becuase this really does seem complete.

You made a good song.

There is certainly more epic stuff on NG

But not much. Your percussion was great though.
Heh, and I like the little chimes at the end.

Ending suggestion

Here's an idea I had when I was listening to it. At the end now, right after that cymbal, you continue for 4 bars with that same "tinkling" sound (sorry, I don't know the proper name for it - it wasn't the strings and it wasn't the snare, it sounded more like tiny bells) that you had at the end, then come back with the snare rhythm from 0:55 and for more effect have it loop twice. And boom, you've got yourself an ending.

At the very least, it's a continuation that you can use as a springboard if you wanted to extend the length, like if my idea was inspiring or something - just a thought. :)

Hope that helps! Once (if) this track gets done, I'd love to use it as background accompaniment to my demo reel. :D

I love the snare drum

I love the snare drum in this song. Is it a real recording, or is it synthesized?

Nostrap responds:

I used Reason to make this. Glad you can't tell :)
