i love the drums, how did you get them?
such a weird question, only because I've worked with milkytracker, but i was never able to get drums/percussion.

about the track now, it was AWESOME. I LOVE chiptunes. I also hate it so much when people EQ and add so many effects on their chiptunes. It ruins it you know?

i definitely love myself a good chiptune here and there, nice job. It loops like a pro without even trying lol.

Thanks for the review!
I drew the drums in by hand. My technique for that in Milky is to draw the waveform at a high frequency and gradually decrease the frequency over the course of the sample, the size of which I usually set between 1000 and 2000. A little bit of generated white noise at the beginning of the sample can make it slightly punchier. The snare drum is white noise with a square wave injected near the beginning, and the hats are just the tail end of the sample I made for the snare.

I'm glad you enjoyed!

This is really nice. I love the way it settles down perfectly to loop again, unlike when people think "Oh, crap. I gotta make this loop!" and the entire thing comes down within two and a half seconds ready for the loop point.

SuperBastard responds:

Thanks man! I actually started the track with a bit of an intro and, instead of toning it down at the end to loop into an intro to build up again, I just lopped off the front of it.

Love dis. :3
