This took me nearly a month to complete! I really challenged myself with this one, and I believe I've pulled through.

Again, I've used some Windows sounds, but different ones from what I used for "Windows Sounds Mix". I also put in these very cool down-pitched computerized voices for all the speaking parts, and I recorded from my Waspy LE for some of those synths, including a bassline. You'll hear the very low bass best through headphones, I'm sure.

Those original melodies I created to go with the main MK ones, wow! And that crazy build up to the climax section! I've never really done anything like that before, along with other new things I've done. Almost every original melody I came up with is in there. The one that didn't quite make it is what I'll feature in my debut podcast I'll post on my webpage, eventually.

If I hadn't come up with these melodies as well as figure out the MK main melodies and role call bass separately, it would have taken me much longer to finish this track. I like this method. Experimenting with things separately makes the creation process more fun anyway. I'd also know ahead of time what sounds great and not so great.

Thanks. Although, version 1.2 is much better than this one. :)

Finally, I've been waiting for this remix!
Good work, Fox! I love how you've put some windows sounds here and there, they worked really fine. The synths are good, the rhythm is good too (though maybe some variation along the track could catch the listener's attention more), so you have a really good track. 7 minutes and I didn't noticed it passing!!
My only complain is about some sounds that are out of rhythm in a way that doesn't please me, like the bass that starts at 2:36. I think that if you tweak them a little more, it will become a really awesome piece of work!

4.5/5. Great job, Fox! Keep rocking.

I have been doing variations in drum beats, though as I think I mentioned earlier, I'll cut back on the drums in some places.

Not the role call bass, but the sweepy bass, right? I put in that role call bass a little early to go with that morphing bass and that sounded really cool. I love the way I did the intro.

Hello SilverFox.
I can hear you did a lot of work on this one, I like the beats and synth sounds, and I notice you have improved on your transitions, you are getting closer to the spot. In a piece as long as this you can take more advantage of passages using only synths, as the one close to the end, to give the rhythm a break, otherwise it feels like the percs are ruling all the time.
Because of it's nature, I think this piece will work better on the Experimental genre, even if it's based on a video game theme.

Keep creating and experimenting.

*nod* All right. More breaks away from the drums, that I can do. Thanks for listening. :D
