A cold blooded assassin with a charming yet deadly grin on his face is on a job, in the middle of the night, about to brutally take down 20+ men using the darkness as his ally.

Bloody, decisive and no one is left standing.

His name is Genjuro.

I didn't want the typical sneaky way approach to this type of track, I imagined him working fast and brutal without any sense of hesitation.

I decided to be very experimental with the sound on this track, enjoy if it's your thing! It was a blast making it.

This is crazy! How were you able to mix so many cultural sounds without making it sound chaotic?

DanJohansen responds:

I can't really explain it man, I just make and adjust the mix as I go along until I am satisfied. A lot of EQ'ing and volume adjustments I guess. :D So much fun to mix stuff together that wasn't meant to be mixed together.

I love the mixture modern and ancient sounds. The song is really narrative, so it's fun to listen to :D
